The end of the world is not coming, but the end of the year is…

As the Christmas holiday season begins to wind down (and yes, even with 10 days to go I do mean wind down) are you giving any thought to next year?

With each year come new challenges which become harder if we do not work at keeping ourselves emotionally and physically fit to deal with them.

What sort of changes do you have in mind. After all, by this time next year you will be older, so will your spouse or significant other (if you have one), and same for parents if they are sill with us.

I suggest that as you go about the end of this years holidays that you consider starting a regime that includes some exercise, better diet of course and some quite time for meditation.

If you are a caregiver, get a family member to spell you for a few minutes a couple times a week to allow yourself some time to do these things.

See if you get get your loved one to exercise with you.  Some of the following may make the job of caregiving easier to deal with once everyone is able to move better.

Believe me, by next Christmas you will feel better for it
