When you understand these principals you can apply them to any movement

January 26, 2014

I am often asked “what is it about your ChiForLiving program for teaching senior better balance and movement that makes it so effective?”

To be honest,  it is not the exercises themselves.  It is the principals behind the methodology.

I am not going to go into detail here… that is what my eBook series will be used for.  Let me say for now that the following are all involved in building strength to hold and move through positions, coordination to  control the body and awareness to put it all together into smooth flowing safe state of movement.

The principals consist of :

  • Standing
  • Center of balance
  • Weight shifting
  • Lifts and steps
  • Turning
  • Speed of movement
  • Timing and coordination
  • Softness of joints & muscles
  • Softness of movement
  • Breathing
  • Smiling
  • Listening to your body

If you would like to know more about the eBooks and ChiForLiving, LLC, feel free to message me.
