Spend time on health and wellness instead of illness mangement

I love this…… someone else has had the same experience and comments that I get. Their reply was very similar to mine:

I’ve had people tell me over the years that they don’t have time for a proper meal or for exercise. My reply has been: “If you don’t have time for them, how do you find time to drive to the doctor’s office, sit in the waiting room, fill prescriptions or lie in a hospital bed?

Living well (or better) takes a mindset …  one of taking control of as much as you are able.

It only takes a few minutes of exercise a day to see benefits. This small amount of time helps you maintain the basics of natural movement for living independently.

Try a few minutes a day of the following

  • Tai Chi and my Chi for Caring or ChiforLivng programs offer  gentle mobility and balanced work.
  • A few minutes of breathing exercise helps reduce stress as well.
  • Seated Yoga
  • Light weight resistance training
  • Walking

Does is not make more sense to spend less maintaining health than it takes managing illness?
